Have you been to my IG lately and noticed these babies? Well, other than being absolutely fantastic, they are brimming with details like a svelte velvet texture complemented with a royal blue plastic (yes, plastic!) bowtie.

Every once in a while it's nice to shake things up a bit and wear something with more of a kick — and this all white, fringed skirt, dripping of everything a lady deserves to make her feel like a princess, certainly completed the task. Plus, pairing it with a casual button up top loosely tied around the waist to give even more spunk? It's a win-win situation.
I gazed upon this bodacious cream-shimmered fringe mini skirt for a full 2 minutes in awe of its magnificence. I am one who truly appreciates "show-stealers" and this was far from an exception. When I wondered into H&M that day, I was looking for just the right all white ensemble that would be perfect for that first of summer all white event. I clutched it [the skirt] and immediately headed to the fitting room and for a second pondered on what the heck I would wear with this. You guys know that I believe in "staple items", you know, the ones that you can tend to throw on with anything? Well, that's where the idea for this uber sophisticated white blouse came into play. Over time, I have learned that sometimes, it's best to let one piece take the shine and let the other pieces accentuate. In this case, I tossed on a simple white button up blouse (a blue jean one might be even cooler!) and for a little more emphasis, tied it up to show just a tad bit of midriff.
Rounding out the outfit, I decided to go with the undeniably sublime Christian Louboutin Pigalles — heels that are literally drenched with sexiness and the subtle nude color provides just enough sass without completely overpowering the ensemble. I dressed it up a little more by throwing on a couple of bangles and pairing them with my absolute favorite gold watch by Rado — the Diastar. I have a hard time with a lot of watches because of my small wrists, and this one manages to give me that popular "thick banded" look without weighing me down.

A good friend of mine's favorite saying is "see, what we NOT gone do is!", a statement which is usually followed by a list of various situations that she deems as foolish or monotonous. My response is generally a flail of the legs and a fit of uproarious laughter as I egg her on to talk more and more about what she refuses to partake in. If you know me well, you know that I am the QUEEN of "geeking" people up. I love to hear folks tell it like it is and best of all-- MEAN it. If you know me even better, you probably also know that I have learned to live by the creed of setting standards and actually living by them.
