Summertime is officially here and it’s definitely a hot one. What’s worse than “beating” that face to perfection only to have the makeup slide off in this 100 degree heat? The fact that I have such oily facial skin, makes me someone who is always on the hunt for that perfect primer and after trying the best of the best (from $5- $50), I finally found a winner. Check out the BEST drugstore primer to add to your makeup arsenal…and it’s only $7!

Ladies and gents, I present Rimmell’s Stay Matte Primer. They outdid themselves with this one — a thicker “lotion” type of primer that minimizes pores, controls shine and creates a soft, perfectly matte complexion for up to 8 hours. With my first application, I was hooked. I noticed right away that I didn’t have to blot as frequently or as soon as I normally do (after about 3 hours, I noticed the first grease spot on my nose). Also, my makeup stayed completely in place and unbothered the whole day. I generally do not buy different primers for different facial parts and I am able to slather this over my entire face (eyelids as well) and have maximum staying power. Trust me — do yourself a favor and invest in this product.

Pant Set: A Closet Staple

There's always room in my closet for a bomb ass pant set and I've made no exceptions for the one above. I am a fan of wardrobe simplicity, so an outfit that can manage to grab everyone's attention without much pondering on my behalf is a God send.
