Move Tactically

Every move that you make should be meticulous and calculated. They should be made to compliment you. Tactical Moving is about making each engagement in life a potential power move for you.

Figuring out your demands for each engagement is key. Whether it’s demanding legitimate friendships, legitimate networking, legitimate advice…demand that everything in your life does something positive for you. Let’s get something straight here—there is NOTHING wrong with standards. Humble standards, that is. There is nothing wrong with wanting the best for your life and vocally declaring this. As a matter of fact, you MUST vocally declare it. You have to put it into existence. Speak on it-- speak on it clearly, concisely and consistently. If you go into every relationship that you have with this thought—demanding greatness not only from yourself but from everyone around you, you will only HAVE greatness around you. It will literally seep from you. It will be everywhere…you might get tired of it! For the remainder of 2016 and beyond, you do not have time to bother with minuscule, irrelevant and wasteful relationships…jobs…friends…even, social media posts. Think strategically about every move that you make and its potential impact. Plan it forward.

Sequins and Snakes

Curve hugging and a subtle tailored look combined with a snake-ish print drenched in sequins? Yeaaa…it was questionable to me at first too. However, when I slid this perfection of a dress on, I knew that it would captivate anyone who saw it. Hell, it had to. So much attention was put into this baby, yet it manages to create that simple shape and be that dress that can be worn to various events — parties, nightclubs, social hours, art showings — the list can go on.

One-Piecing It

At the last minute, I was invited to a networking event that was located at a local art gallery and I was nervous that I would not be able to find anything to wear. Consequently (and thankfully), I remembered this little one piece that I ordered from stylewe.com. I can get carried away with one piece's, because...well...they're easy! I have a lot of stuff going on in my life, so for me, a simpler wardrobe is awesome.
