Loose-fitting and button-less, the belt is what pulls the coat together; wear it open for a casual look or tie it loosely and let it drape for a dressier approach. Introducing this grey masterpiece - a "coat of all coats", so to speak. This is a piece that can double as an everyday coat as well as the final addition "pop" to some bomb outfit that you've managed to pull together. There were a couple of color options when I purchased from missguided.com, but I opted for the grey because it tends to work with everything and it's perfect for the fall/wintertime. Loose-fitting and button-less, the belt is what pulls the coat together; wear it open for a casual look or tie it loosely and let it drape for a dressier approach. It's one of those coats that you tend to let take all of the shine, which is exactly what I chose to do. I paired it with a plain black bodysuit that I ordered from fashionnova.com.

This time, I tried something a little different, and threw on one of my favorite Burberry belts to give it a different take. This belt is always fun because it adds just the right amount of flavor to an outfit. The overall look was simple, so I added in some Christian Louboutin booties for a little jazz. Surprising to most, these shoes are one of my most comfortable heels. A five inch diva to the core, they demand attention...and they always get it.

A Duster and Shorts: the Perfect Combo

As soon as this silky sublime number touched my body in this stiflingly hot weather, I was in heaven. Literally. Let's give it up for this cool yet sexy outfit that manages to still leave something to the imagination and give a subtle touch of "queen-dom" while doing it. Not surprisingly, it was snagged from one of my absolute favorite online boutiques-- boohoo.com.

One-Piecing It

At the last minute, I was invited to a networking event that was located at a local art gallery and I was nervous that I would not be able to find anything to wear. Consequently (and thankfully), I remembered this little one piece that I ordered from stylewe.com. I can get carried away with one piece's, because...well...they're easy! I have a lot of stuff going on in my life, so for me, a simpler wardrobe is awesome.
